Ronald J's Story
Finished HS 1965", and joined the US Army the same year. Served two tours in Vietnam, spent another year living in Fort Hood Texas. I marred Carol in 1968; she was 14 when we first met and married just before her 18th Birthday. We have two daughters, Jill & Leigh and a son Wil, we have 4 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
I worked for the Carteret Police Department for 28 years, the NJ Attorney General's Office for two years and stayed active with the Army National Guard until age 60, retiring as a Sergeant Major.
I currently live in Tennessee Ridge, TN, low rolling hills and miles and miles of farmland. We are about 90 miles north west of Nashville,TN near the Kentucky border. Carol, my wife just retired from being a Nurse, she worked in the Emergency Room of a local hospital. My youngest daughter, Leigh lives in Clarksville, TN with her husband, a retired Army doctor and her son Holden, age 13.

e active, he loves fishing, especially fly fishing and so far we have managed to go fly fishing in most of the states out here including several trips to Alaska, Montana and Wyoming.
Retired life for me is having my own business, a machine shop where I can do most anything I want. Two years ago I finished my third cannon, there are a lot of Civil War reenactments in the area and I found myself involved with two groups and helping them build cannons (Full Size) for use in the reenactments. The ones up to now are only capable of firing blanks but the newest one will be for contests were solid shot is fired at targets of varying distance.
Since moving here I've had a visit from a former classmate, Diane Spisak-Pede. Diane and I first met in third grade at St. Joseph's grammar, she and her husband live about 120 miles west of me Diane and Carol have been friends since 1969 when they worked together at a hair salon in Woodbridge.
